Dahua HAC-HUM3201B-P 2MP HD-CVI Starlight WDR Pinhole 2.8mm Lens
This camera sends the image over coax cable instead of over a network cable. That is the logical choice if coax is already installed from an older system: you replace the camera and the recorder, but the cabling stays in place. For a new installation, IP is usually the better choice, because you then also have smart detection and control over the network.

Frequently asked questions
Does this camera work with my existing cabling?
Yes, if coax is already installed. The camera sends the image over it. You do need a recorder that supports HD-CVI, so an XVR; a network recorder does not work with it.
What is the difference from an IP camera?
With IP, the image and power run over a network cable and the smart detection is usually in the camera itself. With coax, only the image runs over the cable and the recorder does the processing. If nothing is installed yet, IP is usually the better choice.
Can I watch on my phone?
Yes, via the recorder. The camera itself is not on the network; the XVR handles the connection and the notifications in Dahua's free DMSS app.
