For those who already have coax in the building
If an analogue installation with coaxial cable is already in place, you do not need to replace it to get a better picture.
This camera sends Full HD over the same cable that an analogue camera used to be connected to. That saves breaking and chasing work in a building where new cabling is difficult to install.
What this camera does
Power over the coax
PoC stands for Power over Coax. One cable per camera, no separate power wire.
Starlight in low light
Keeps a colour image well into twilight. After that, black and white with infrared up to 80 metres.
Motorised zoom 2.7-13.5mm
Set the view remotely, from a wide driveway to a tightly framed entrance gate.

What you often need with it
Dahua recommends the following mounting accessories for this model. They fit the housing and can be ordered separately.
- Dahua PFA130-E Wall/junction box IP66 – junction box for a neat cable finish behind the camera
- Dahua PFA152-E Pole mount for various cameras – pole bracket, to be used together with a wall mount or junction box
Please note: for power over the coaxial cable (PoC) you need a recorder or power supply that supports it. Feel free to check with us.
Frequently asked questions
Does this work with my existing recorder?
Only on an HD-CVI recorder. The signal is not compatible with an old, purely analogue recorder. For PoC you also need a recorder or power supply that supports it.
Why coax and not a network camera?
If the coax is already in place, this is by far the cheapest route to Full HD. If you are building new or running cables anyway, an IP camera is the more logical choice.
What does Starlight mean?
An extra light-sensitive sensor that keeps a colour image in low light, instead of switching straight to black and white.
