Dahua H5B: pan and tilt Wi-Fi camera for indoor use
A compact 5 megapixel indoor camera with a 2.8mm lens that pans and tilts remotely. One camera can thus keep an entire room in view: horizontally it pans 350 degrees, vertically it tilts from -5 to 80 degrees.
You control it with the free Dahua DMSS app. The camera recognises persons and pets, follows whoever walks through the room and sends a notification to your phone. With the call button on the front, someone can call you directly, and you talk back through the built-in microphone and speaker.

Sharp image, day and night
With 5 megapixels you see more detail than with a standard 4 megapixel camera: faces and small items remain recognisable when you zoom in. In the dark the camera switches to infrared and sees up to 10 metres.

Direct contact, wherever you are
Press the button on the camera and you receive a call on your phone. You see and hear each other immediately. Useful for children coming home, an elderly parent or colleagues in the shop.

A notification only when it matters
The camera recognises persons and pets and ignores everything else. This way you do not have to keep checking yourself, and you receive fewer notifications about nothing.

Monitors fixed positions at a set time
Set a few fixed positions in the app, for example the door, the till and the back. At the time you choose, the camera passes through those positions one by one.

All-round view without blind spots
With the arrows in the app you pan and tilt the camera remotely. This way you can look into every corner of the room yourself.

Lens hidden when you are at home
In privacy mode, the camera turns its lens downwards and records nothing. You can also mask parts of the image, so that the camera never shows them.

The whole moment on video
If the camera sees a person or pet, it turns along with it. So you see not only that someone was there, but also where they went.

Alarm on an unusual sound
If something breaks or a loud noise sounds, you receive a notification straight away, even if nobody is in view.

Record to an SD card, review in the app
Recordings are stored on a micro SD card of up to 256 GB in the camera. In the DMSS app you watch live, play back recordings, receive notifications and share the camera with your family or colleagues.

Wi-Fi 6, or simply a cable
Wi-Fi 6 gives a more stable connection and less interference than older Wi-Fi. The camera uses the 2.4 GHz band. If it is mounted far from your router, connect it with a network cable.

Questions about the Dahua H5B
Can I mount the H5B on the wall or the ceiling?
Yes. It normally just stands on a cabinet, but the bracket and screws are in the box. If you mount it upside down, you rotate the image 180 degrees in the app.
Does the camera work on 5 GHz Wi-Fi?
No, the H5B uses the 2.4 GHz band of your Wi-Fi. If the signal is weak at that location, connect it with a network cable.
Where are the recordings stored?
On a micro SD card of up to 256 GB in the camera itself. The card is not included. You watch live and play back recordings in the DMSS app.
