Door station that recognises residents by their face
An outdoor station with facial recognition: residents do not need to carry a key, tag or code to get in. Visitors ring the bell and come through with picture and sound on the indoor station or the phone.
The station is connected to the network and receives its power over the same network cable (PoE). One cable to the door is therefore enough.
If the station recognises a resident, the door opens without anyone needing to respond. For visitors the normal bell procedure still applies: picture on the indoor station, and open the door from there.

Note the connection type
This is an IP door station and belongs in an IP installation with PoE. It is not suitable for a 2-wire system; for that, see the VTO4103 and VTO4202 series.

Frequently asked questions
How does opening the door with face recognition work?
The station recognises the faces stored in it and opens the door accordingly. Residents therefore do not need to carry anything. Anyone who is not on the list simply rings the bell.
Do I need a separate power supply?
Not if you use PoE: the station receives power and network over the same cable. Without a PoE switch, a separate power supply and injector are needed.
Does this station fit an existing 2-wire installation?
No. This is an IP station. If two wires run to the door, look at the VTO4103 or VTO4202 series with a matching controller.
What do I need to mount it on the wall?
The VTM130, the surface mounting box that belongs with this model. If the station is installed flush in the wall, you do not need it.
Which indoor station fits it?
Any Dahua IP indoor station, for example the VTH5222 series. It also works without an indoor station: the call then comes through to your phone via the app.
