The Dahua SD5A225GB-HNR delivers razor-sharp Full HD images, fast operation and smart AI functions in one robust housing. Thanks to Starlight technology, you retain excellent visibility even in low light. With the 25x optical zoom, you can bring important details closer with ease, while IR illumination of up to 150 metres provides clear night vision. This set is supplied complete with a PFB305W wall bracket and a 24VDC power supply: unpack, install and record.
What this camera does
This PTZ dome is built for continuous outdoor use. The metal housing is IK10 vandal-resistant and IP67 dust-tight and waterproof. WizSense AI distinguishes intelligently between people and vehicles, so you receive fewer false alerts and find the right footage faster. AI Auto-track automatically follows a target within the image, ideal for car parks, business premises, schools and retail environments. With PoE+, installation is simple and neat.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card of up to 225 GB fits in the camera. Convenient for a single camera. If you want to review footage further back or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and IK10 and is therefore made for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and feed the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
