Dahua HFW3849T-ZS-IL-BI Black 8MP WizSense Smart Dual Light Bullet 2.7-13.5mm motorised zoom lens
With 8MP Ultra HD resolution, smart lighting that switches automatically and a motorised zoom lens, you can zoom in on details without loss of quality. The sleek black housing looks discreet and is made for outdoor use. This is professional security, easy to use and equipped with smart AI functions to reduce false alerts.
What this camera does
This camera combines power with simplicity. The Smart Dual Light technology switches automatically between invisible infrared and warm white light as soon as there is movement. This gives you a colour image when it matters, without constant illumination. WizSense AI (including SMD 4.0 and Perimeter Protection) recognises people and vehicles, so you receive fewer false alerts and can respond faster to what really matters. With the motorised 2.7-13,5 mm lens you set the ideal viewing angle remotely: from a wide overview to close-up details. Everything is stored efficiently thanks to smart H.265+ compression, so you can record for longer without high storage costs.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card of up to 512 GB fits in the camera. Convenient for a single camera. If you want to review footage over a longer period or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
