Configuring the M&C CONDOR door cylinders:
When configuring the cylinder you can select the length and the colour: nickel, black or brass, or a combination. You can also have a knob or a push knob fitted. If you choose a knob or push knob, you can specify on which side the knob is to be mounted.
Measuring the cylinder:
The easiest way is to remove the cylinder from the door and measure it. Insert the key in the lock you want to measure, then undo the screw completely on the edge of the door. Turn the key slightly so that the cylinder can be removed. You now measure both sides of the door cylinder from the centre of the screw opening. If, for example, this is 2 x 30mm, you choose the 32/32 cylinder from us. If 1 side of the cylinder is longer, you can choose from 1 of the options in the selection.
For example: if 1 side of the cylinder is 30mm, which in our sizing is 32mm, and the other side is 45mm, you choose the 32/47 cylinder. PLEASE NOTE: the cylinder must not protrude more than 3 mm beyond the door fitting.
You can also use our cylinder gauge. You can print it out and cut it out to measure the cylinder without having to remove the cylinder from the door.
Not sure of the right size?
