Frequently asked questions
Can I connect my existing cameras to this?
This recorder works with HD-CVI, AHD, TVI and the old analogue signal. If you have coax with cameras of one of those types, you can connect them directly.
Is a hard drive included?
No, this version comes without a drive. Choose a drive that is made for continuous recording. If you do not know which size you need, call or email us and we will work it out with you.
Can I add IP cameras later?
Yes, that is exactly the idea of an XVR: alongside the coax channels there is room for IP cameras. The datasheet states how many.
Can I watch on my phone?
Yes, with Dahua's free DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is provided.
