What is the use of Android on an indoor monitor?
You can install apps on it, for example for your camera system or a weather station. If you only want the intercom, this is unnecessary; in that case a Linux version is simpler and cheaper.
What do I use the eight alarm inputs for?
For wired contacts: a door or window contact, a motion detector or a panic button. The screen shows the alert and can forward it to the app.
Does the app also work when I am not at home?
Yes, provided the station is connected to the internet. You then receive a notification when someone rings the bell, you can see who is at the door and you can open it remotely.
Can I combine it with an outdoor station from another brand?
Indoor and outdoor units from different brands rarely work together. Stick to a single system. If you already have an outdoor unit, let us know the type and we will check whether it fits.
