Dahua specifies 8 kg as the maximum. Stay below this, especially with a camera that moves or when mounting on a pole exposed to wind.

Can this be installed outdoors?

Yes, the housing is IP66 and is therefore suitable for outdoor use. Make sure the cable enters through the cable gland, so that no moisture reaches the connection.
