Conventional ECO1003A photoelectric smoke detector The ECO1003A photoelectric smoke detector uses a state-of-the-art optical chamber that works on the light scattering principle, combined with an application-specific integrated circuit for fast and accurate fire detection.
The combination of a unique chamber design and other technically advanced features of the ECO1003A photoelectric smoke detector significantly extends the maintenance intervals before the detector needs to be cleaned. A laser-based portable remote test unit can be used in combination with the ECO1000 series of detectors for alarm testing purposes. The detector also has a built-in LED, which stays lit until the detector is reset by a temporary power interruption. The bases are fitted with a short-circuit spring to allow circuit tests before the detector is mounted.
