AirShield Magnet: know when a door or window opens
The AirShield Magnet is a compact wireless door and window contact that you can fit in minutes. As soon as a door or window opens, you receive a notification straight away via your AirShield alarm system. Reliable basic protection for a home, office or shop.
The AirShield Magnet has a freely programmable wired input that you set up as a fully separate zone: choose the role (sensor, tamper or key switch) and the alarm type (intrusion, fire, medical, emergency, gas or water leak), with its own name and room. It also measures the ambient temperature. With two-way communication on 868 MHz, the notification stays stable, even with a lot of wireless traffic nearby. You choose white or black yourself.

Notification on opening
As soon as a door or window opens, the contact sends a notification to your hub straight away. Small, easy to conceal and quickly fitted.
Programmable extra zone
Connect a wired sensor as its own zone. Choose the role (sensor, tamper or key switch) and the alarm type: intrusion, fire, medical, panic, gas or water leak. With its own name, room and entry/exit delay.
Encrypted and stable
Two-way communication on 868 MHz with AES128 and frequency hopping, resistant to eavesdropping and interference.
Up to 4 years on one battery
Runs on a supplied CR123A battery with a service life of up to 4 years, plus a tamper contact and a low battery notification.

Which magnetic contact suits you?
All three report whether a door or window is open or closed. The Magnet Pro has the longest battery life and the greatest range; the Magnet Plus already warns on vibration or forced entry, so before anyone is inside.

An immediate notification in the DMSS app
As soon as a detector is triggered, the AirShield hub sends a push notification to your phone. In the free Dahua DMSS app you can see which detector was triggered and in which room, and you can arm and disarm your system. No subscription, on iPhone and Android.

Frequently asked questions
How quickly can I fit this contact?
In a few minutes. Fix the transmitter to the door or frame and the magnet to the moving part, pair it with the hub and test it with the built-in test mode.
What is the wired input for?
To add a wired sensor as a fully separate zone. You choose the role (standard sensor, tamper contact or key switch to arm and disarm the system) and, as a sensor, the alarm type: intrusion, fire, medical, emergency, gas or water leak. You give the zone its own name, assign it to a room and set an entry or exit delay.
Does it work on a metal door?
For the best performance, fit the contact on a non-metallic door or frame. Metal can interfere with the wireless connection.
What is the difference from Magnet Pro and Plus?
The Magnet Pro lasts the longest and has the greatest range, and the Magnet Plus already warns on vibration or forced entry. This Magnet is the affordable basic contact.
