AirShield Leak Detector: prevent water damage
The AirShield Leak Detector is a compact wireless water detector that raises an immediate alarm as soon as it detects water. Ideal for use near a washing machine, dishwasher, boiler room or under a sink, exactly where a leak can cause major damage.
You place the detector (Dahua ARD912-W2(868)) horizontally on the floor at a risk point. With a splash-resistant IPX5 housing, two-way communication on 868 MHz and a range of up to 1,200 m, you receive a quick and reliable notification.

As soon as the sensor detects water, it immediately sends a notification to your hub and phone. This lets you step in before a leak turns into damage.

Leak Detector or Flex?
Both raise an instant alarm as soon as they detect water and are splash-proof (IPX5). The Flex has adjustable sensitivity and can be placed on the floor or on the wall, useful in awkward spots.

An immediate notification in the DMSS app
As soon as a detector is triggered, the AirShield hub sends a push notification to your phone. In the free Dahua DMSS app you can see which detector was triggered and in which room, and you can arm and disarm your system. No subscription, on iPhone and Android.

Is cabling required?
No. The detector works wirelessly on battery and communicates directly with the AirShield hub on 868 MHz.
Can it withstand moisture?
Yes, the housing has an IPX5 protection rating against splashing water. The product is intended for indoor use.
What is the difference from the Flex version?
The Leak Detector Flex has adjustable sensitivity and can be placed on the floor or on the wall. This version is placed horizontally on the floor.
