What this camera does
This 4MP ePoE bullet camera is built for reliability. With 25 fps for smooth playback, strong backlight compensation (WDR) and intelligent AI-based image optimisation, you always obtain usable evidence. ePoE offers extra flexibility and lower costs: cover distances of up to 800 metres over standard network cable with a Dahua ePoE switch or recorder. Add local recording to microSD (up to 512 GB) and you have a complete, secure and cost-efficient solution for outdoor and indoor use. Ideal for home, shop, office or site security.
- 4MP resolution at 25 fps: sharp, smooth images with rich detail.
- Deeplight technology: bright colours and less noise in low light.
- Smart IR night vision: evenly lit image without overexposure, range up to approx. 60 m.
- WizMind AI: accurate detection and classification of people and vehicles, smart searching of recordings.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a separate power supply?
No, with PoE, power and video run over the same network cable. Your recorder or switch must then supply PoE. If it does not, the camera can run on a separate 12 V power supply.
Can I record without a recorder?
Yes, a microSD card of up to 512 GB fits in the camera. Convenient for a single camera. If you want to review footage over a longer period or view several cameras together, a recorder is the better choice.
Can this camera be mounted outdoors?
Yes. The housing is IP67 and therefore suitable for outdoor use. Mount it with screws and plugs, and route the cable through the supplied cable gland so that no moisture reaches the connection.
Does the camera work with my phone?
Yes, with the free Dahua DMSS app you can watch live, play back recordings and receive notifications. The link to the app is under the Downloads tab.
Which mounting parts do I need?
That depends on the surface. The parts that Dahua lists for this model are shown under "Frequently bought together" on this page. If you are unsure, call or email us and we will help you check.
