Where do you want to go?

Cameras record what happens, a recorder stores the footage, and an intercom or video doorbell lets you see and speak to whoever rings. Choose the right entry point below.

IP cameras

Network cameras with the highest resolution and the most intelligence, usually powered over the network cable (PoE).

Coax cameras

For those who want to reuse the existing coax cabling of an older system.

NVR

The network recorder for IP cameras, from 4 to 128 channels, often with PoE.

XVR

The recorder for coax cameras, from 4 to 32 channels.

Video servers

Servers and management platforms for large installations and multiple locations.

Decoders

Put live camera footage from the network directly onto HDMI monitors or a video wall.

Monitors

Professional screens to display live footage and recordings sharply.

Intercom

See and speak to visitors and open the door remotely, also for multiple homes.

Video doorbell

A video doorbell from Dahua or Ajax, with a notification on your phone.

Access control

Control access with code panels, card readers and door control.

Network switches

PoE switches that supply your cameras with power and data via a network cable.

Network products

Cables, connectors, PoE injectors, converters and switches to connect everything.

NVR accessories

Hard drives, rails and mounting materials to expand your recorder.

Camera accessories

Mounting material, power supplies and storage to complete your system.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about cameras and intercom

What is the minimum I need for camera surveillance?

One or more cameras and a recorder to record and review the footage. For IP cameras this is an NVR, for coax cameras an XVR. Accessories such as cabling, power supplies and storage complete the system.

IP or coax: which should I choose?

If you do not have any cabling in place yet, IP is the logical choice: highest resolution and power over the network cable. If coax cable from an older system is already in place, you can reuse it with coax cameras and an XVR.

What is the difference between an intercom and a video doorbell?

A video doorbell is a doorbell with a camera that shows you on your phone who is at the door. An intercom is more extensive, often with an indoor station and access management, and is also suitable for multiple homes or units.

Can I choose cameras that suit my recorder?

Yes, and that matters for the smart functions. How to read the Dahua series and why the recorder must be able to support the camera's series is explained on the page about Dahua series and model codes.
