What you will find here

Mounting, power and storage

Mounting materials such as brackets, wall and pole mounts and junction boxes ensure your camera is secure and in the right place. Choose a bracket that suits the shape of your camera; for Dahua models, the matching bracket is usually listed on the product page.

Power supplies provide power when a camera is not powered via PoE. For recording and storing footage, there are hard drives made for continuous use, such as the WD Purple, as well as memory cards for cameras that record locally.

You will also find the finishing items that complete an installation here: microphones for sound, converters and connectors. If you are unsure what suits your camera, please ask us.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about camera accessories

Which hard drive do I need for my recorder?

A drive made for 24/7 video surveillance, such as the WD Purple, lasts longer than an ordinary desktop drive. The size depends on the number of cameras, the resolution and how long you want to keep recordings; we can calculate it with you if you wish.

Which bracket fits my camera?

That depends on the shape (bullet, dome, turret) and the mounting location (wall, ceiling, pole). For Dahua cameras, the matching bracket is often already listed on the product page under accessories.

Do I need a power supply?

Only if the camera is not powered via PoE. If your recorder or switch supports PoE, the camera receives power over the network cable and you do not need a separate power supply.
